The French [ i ] sound
much more close than the English counterpart. When you pronounce the French /ee/ sound, virtually you should split your face. Not really, but the corners of your lips should fly up towards your ears as far as you can stretch them. Remember that the french_resources are produced with greater muscular tension than their English counterparts.
