Write Lesson Plan/s for the VALU
-
First create the ‘VALU’. VALU stands for ‘Virtual Adventure Learning Unit’. Select the VALU you are writing the lesson plan for. You can add one or several lesson plans to the VALU and several GTLUs(which stands for Game Task Learning Unit). There is an option to assign it to a class later.
-
In ‘Lesson Title’ type the title of the lesson. The title should reflect the topic of the lesson.
-
In ‘Lesson Description’ type the description of the lesson. Just a brief summary of the lesson, and state learning objectives.
-
In ‘Lesson Plan’/VALU type the lesson plan details. All the information you want the student to address during the lesson.
-
When you have finished writing the lesson plan, click the ‘Create Lesson’/VALU button.
-
A yellow bar near the top of the screen will confirm that the lesson has been added successfully, and you will be asked to add activities/GTLUs (which stands for Game Task Learning Unit) to the lesson. A GTLU is a lesson integrated fun study component in a game context.
