SUMMATIVE EXAMINATION

SEMESTER 1

SPEAKING SKILL

This exam will have TWO components:

  1. You prepare a brief speech and present it to your BSDE teacher over the phone.
  2. After your speech, you will have a TWO_WAY CONVERSATION on the topic with your BSDE teacher.

  • You are an exchange student in France. In class, you will be asked to prepare a brief speech of around 2 minutes, about yourself, your family, your school and home environment.

After the presentation of your speech, your BSDE teacher will play the role of your French classmates by asking further questions or just seeking clarifications with respect to some elements of your presentation.

Be prepared to be as interactive as possible during the conversation: ask questions, interrupt to seek clarification. The conversation part will have to be a dialogue and not a one-way interview.

Bonne chance!
