| · | the U, like the R might require special effort to acquire as it is not present in the English repertoire

| · | for the i and é sounds the corners of the lips are widely spread up towards the ears

| · | -emm- is pronounced [aam]

| · | -ez, -er are pronounced just like a in [ale]

| · | the double consonants [mm] [ff] [ss] [pp] [nn] etc. in French are only double in writing but in speech one must pronounce them as a single sound .
